Surah Al-Fatiha - (The Opening)

Surah Al-Fātiha is the first chapter and the heart of the Qur’an — as it embodies the essence of faith itself. It opens with praise for Allah, as the most compassionate and the most merciful, and also recognizing Him as the Master and Sustainer of all existence. The believer then turns inward, expressing complete devotion towards him by saying: “You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help.”

The Surah culminates in a heartfelt plea for divine guidance — toward the path of righteousness and truth, and away from the ways of those who have gone astray.

At its core, Al-Fātiha is a sacred dialogue between the soul and its Creator. It is the soul’s call for mercy, direction, and closeness to the Divine.
